Villa La Pagliaia Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione
This wine is the fruit of the painstaking selection of the finest Sangiovese grapes grown in few selected parcels of the Estate vineyards. After the fermentation in steel, followed by a 22-day maceration, the wine is aged for 24 months part in Slavonian oak casks and part in 500 liters French oak barrels and a further 8-10 months in bottle. Deep ruby red, the nose releases scents of dried plum, blackberry and raspberry. Full-bodied wine with velvety tannins and a well integrated acidity.

Villa Pillo Borgoforte Rosso Toscano IGT
Borgoforte is a small village in the middle of our Estate that proved too strong to conquer:
A strong village. Like our new red wines, it symbolizes the resilient and charming character of the Tuscans.
This wine is made in the “Super – Tuscan” style by adding Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes to the classical grape of Tuscany, Sangiovese.
Each year we add selected wines to the blend to bring subtle complexity and richness without losing the flavor of the traditional wines of Tuscany. Grapes picked at optimum ripeness ensure a wine which expresses itself in its ripe blackfruit components and full body. A true reflection of flavors which are a marriage of our soils under the Tuscan sun. For smooth body and elegance, the wine is aged in small oak barrels

Villa Pillo Cingalino Rosso di Toscana
The wine, composed by 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, as been named because of the funny animal represented on the label. A dressed wild boar with a grape on his hand. It’s a nice label for representing our Tuscan region. The intention is to do a product easy to drink with the complexity and roundness of French varieties, without loosing the flavor and fresh quality of traditional Tuscan wine. Thanks to the particular attention of the blend, we obtain a wine with a medium dark color with vibrant flavor and aromas, a pleasant wine to drink even if young. Every varieties did the fermentation separately and after the Cigalino has been aged for 6 months in French one year used barrels of Lt. 225, which contribute to enhance the elegance.

Villa Pillo Cypresses Rosso Toscano IGT
The 3 Cypresses, symbols of Toscana, give the name to the wine.The wine, 100% Sangiovese, comes from the selection of our best grapes and it reflects the traditional aroma and brilliant quality of Tuscan wines. The vines are trained on a vertical trellis to allow management of growing shoots and favor the development of color and ripeness.
Spur pruning in the winter followed by further selection of fruit in the spring ensures an ripeness. It has been aged in new French Tonneaux of 7 Hl to don’t give an eccessive tannin taste to the wine. The variety Sangiovese, at Pillo, expresses itself as a wine with adeep purple colour, with cherries and ripe fruits notes, balanced and medium body in the taste. Thanks to the big and smooth tannins, it is a wine of long ageing potential.

Villavecchia – Gavi di Gavi DOCG
Gavi is known for its straw yellow color as well as fine intensity and good consistency. Its aroma is intense with the scent of white flowers and an aromatic trace of minerals. The taste is pleasantly fresh, savory, and balanced with a fine structure and an aftertaste of almonds.
Gavi is usually drank as a "young" new wine and maintains the special characteristics in the bottle over time. It goes well with appetizers as well as white meat and fish dishes. Italians are fond of drinking Gavi as an aperitif too.
