Smith-Madrone Spring Mountain Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine opens with a concentrated nose of dark fruits, leading with notes of boysenberry and plum. The palate is remarkably seamless, an elegantly integrated mouthful with a velvety, silky texture which leaves you realizing how wine-making can ‘distill’ a grape into a powerful perfume, the essence of Cabernet Sauvignon. Old school and old world in its approach, this wine projects finesse, grace and balance, all supported by the backbone of a mountain vineyard pedigree. Superb now, with a finish which almost doesn’t finish, this wine will certainly age wonderfully for at least twenty-five years.

Tellu’s Tawny Port

The Lost Chapters Pinot Noir
Cola berries and black cherry with a red rose floral note and river stones aromatics. Spicy with expansive red fruits on entry that reveals pomegranate and cherries. It is followed by a muscular structure through to the finish. It is well centered and powerful, bright and balanced.

Trentadue La Storia Cuvee 32
Dark red color, bright fruit and firm acidity and well-structured tannins destined to age well. Intense cherry/cassis aromas contributed by the Sangiovese followed by deeper red fruit aromas of plums, blueberry, and a hint of pomegranate. Typical for the blend is an enticing mixture of herbs and spices making the wine particularly enjoyable with Italian style food. With more air the wine shows more complex yet still in developing stage aromas and flavors of cocoa, cinnamon, leather, and black licorice. The mouth feel is medium to full with relatively high, food friendly acidity and a long and fresh finish. Drink now through 2028.
