This wine is made in the “Super – Tuscan” style by adding Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes to the classical grape of Tuscany, Sangiovese.
Each year we add selected wines to the blend to bring subtle complexity and richness without losing the flavor of the traditional wines of Tuscany. Nada Giuseppe Langhe Nebbiolo DOC
From 0.8ha between two crus, Marcarini and Casot, both with the commune of Treiso, at 350m. The vines are between 10-25 years old. Marcarini is exposed to the southeast whereas Casot faces southwest. Harvest was on Sept 15th, 2016 at yields of 55hl/ha. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel with 21 days of maceration; aging took place in 1000L and 3000L oak botti for 9 months. 6,000 bottles produced.
